Our Little Miracles team has a passion for childcare and a love for Jesus. Many of us are mothers and treat the students here as we treat our own! We believe that every child is worthy of love and care and we put extra effort into ensuring a safe and warm environment for your children.

Director – Kindergarten Teacher
Jeni Shaw
Co-Director with Kathy, Mrs. Shaw teaches our kindergarten class! She’s been teaching our wonderful kindergarteners for over 15 years now and loves teaching her students all about Jesus.
Director – PreK 4 Teacher
Kathy Hazen
Co-Director with Jeni, Mrs. Hazen is our PreK teacher for the four year old students. Her love for her students is only matched by her love for her family and Jesus!
Preschool Teacher – 2s
Cassidy Shaw
Cassidy has been at Little Miracles since she was only 16 years old! She has a passion for the little ones and amazing patience as she begins to teach the youngest students their first classes!
Preschool Teacher – 3s
Jenn Scherrer
Jenn has her degree in behavioral sciences and we are so lucky to have her teaching the PreK 3-year-old class! These kiddos are practicing reading and writing under Jenn’s guidance. They read Bible stories and learn everything they need for entering PreK!
Preschool Aide
Kelley Kost
Kelley assists both Jenn and Cassidy in the classrooms where needed. She is a wonderful facilitator and has a passion for caring for kids. Our little ones always gravitate towards her warm hugs! She helps with naps, lunches, and tons more. We’d be lost without her at Little Miracles!
Preschool Aide
Genevieve Boyer
Genevieve assists both Jenn and Cassidy in the classrooms where needed. She and her daughter are a great team! She loves reading aloud to the young ones, helping them build relationships through play, and is always quick to dry tears, be silly, and have fun!
Nursery Care
Saedie Tovar & Natasha Lindley
Natasha & Saedie work in our nursery care as a team! Natasha works in the morning from 8am – 2pm and then Saedie finishes the day from around 1pm – 6pm. These gals work great as a team to make sure that our smallest little miracles are cared for as best as humanly possible!
After School Care
Ava Blair
A recent graduate, Ava comes to us with years of childcare experience! She is great with the little ones and always loves playing and being silly. She is a welcome addition to our Little Miracles team and assists Julie with closing at the end of each night.
After Hours Care
Julie Venstra
You might find Julie assisting Mrs. Hazen’s class by day, or you’ll find her caring for all of our students after the school day has ended! Julie has an eye for detail and loves to make sure all the little miracles are cared for before they’re sent home. She wears a lot of hats here at Little Miracles and we are lucky to have her!

Classical Music Instructor
Some of the elements included are: solfège singing, develop independent singing, pitch exploration, rhythm activities, movement for form and expression, classical music, and song tales.
Bonnie Arriola
Library & Story time
From our local Star Library, we have Miss Bonnie! She tells us stories through puppets, sings us songs, and gives us information about all of the things we can do at our local library!
Don Shaw
Extra Curriculum & Facility Manager
With years of education experience, Mr. Don sometimes assists with substitute teaching. Additionally, he ensures that our facilities are well maintained and properly cared for.
Sandi Hazen
Retired Educator & Loving Grandma!
Our older students enjoy the social skills class taught by Sandi Hazen. She is so patient and loves helping our older students develop life skills they carry with them through the classroom and beyond!
