Our facility opens at 7:00am and closes at 6:00pm Monday-Friday. Many parents find it convenient to drop off their students before standard school hours knowing that our caring staff can assist with walking Star Elementary students to school and helping others wait at the bus. We have a staff member walk the Star Elementary students to school at 8:45am so students can arrive to class safely and on time. In addition, many schools in our district have our location as a bus pickup and drop off point. Students from other schools in the Star area walk with a teacher to the bus pickup point where they are safely transported to their school.
After school, we have a member of our evening staff walk to Star Elementary and pick up the students who are receiving After Care at our facility. In after care, elementary students will receive an after school snack and are provided with time to socialize, do homework, be creative, play, and more all under the watchful eyes of our trusting staff. Children from other schools are also dropped off via bus and taken into the facility to wait while parents or guardians come to pick them up.
